Mining Equipment Transport Brisbane
Mining equipment — haul trucks, dozers, excavators, drill rigs, crushers and processing modules — is heavy, wide and frequently OSOM. Much of it moves through Brisbane and SEQ as an import via the Port of Brisbane or as an outbound move to the Surat and Bowen Basin operations via Toowoomba and the Warrego Highway. We plan mining equipment transport around the machine's mass and width, the port or yard access and the long outbound corridor.
What we move
Mining haul trucks (body and chassis), large dozers, excavators, drill rigs, crushing and screening modules, conveyor sections and processing plant. We move from the Port of Brisbane, from OEM yards, and outbound to mine sites west and north of SEQ.
Trailer matching
Heavy mining modules and large machines move on platform floats with dollies and steerable rears; mid-size machines suit low loaders. The combination is planned against axle mass limits, bridge ratings on the outbound corridor, and the swept path at Toowoomba range crossings.
Permits, escorts and corridor
Mining equipment moves are OSOM: NHVR access permits, route surveys, bridge rating checks and multi-pilot plans are standard. The outbound corridor via Toowoomba and the Warrego Highway has specific restrictions; we confirm range-crossing windows and avoid peak and event periods.
Port and gate scheduling
Imported mining equipment moves to a vessel discharge window at the Port of Brisbane; outbound moves coordinate with mine gate scheduling. We book permits early and align the float, the pilots and the gate window so the move doesn't stall.
Get it quoted
Send the equipment weight and dimensions, the pickup (port or yard) and the delivery mine or site. We'll plan the float, the permits and the escort and give you an indicative rate.
Recommended fleet
This work typically runs on our Platform Floats. See the fleet detail for indicative specs and configurations.
